September 11, 2025: Berlin, OH 44310 The Hiland Hawks smashed the visiting Chippewa Chipps soccer squad by a margin of 7-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Hawks now hold a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Lake Center Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Hiland will encounter a Tiger squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to North (Akron, OH). The Tiger record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Chippewa moves to 4-5 on the year. The Chipps travel to Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH) to encounter the Golden Bears in a Wayne County challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Golden Bears go into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Waynedale lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Central Christian (Kidron, OH)
