Enka Jets (Enka, NC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Freedom Patriots (Morganton, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Enka moves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Jets travel to Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC) to confront the Cougars in a non-league outing on Monday, September 15. The Cougars enter the outing with a record of 1-6. Mountain Heritage lost 6-0 in their recent non-league outing against Erwin (Asheville, NC)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Ashe County Huskies (West Jefferson, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 18. Freedom will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record.
