Maryland High School Soccer - Leonardtown knocks off La Plata
September 11, 2025: Leonardtown, MD 20650 In Thursday's league outing, the host Leonardtown Raiders soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 win over the La Plata Warriors.
The Raiders (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against South River (Edgewater, MD). The Seahawks enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, South River ran past Meade (Fort Meade, MD), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland test, on Tuesday, September 16. La Plata will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Chargers come into the test with a 3-0 record after their 1-0 league win over Huntingtown (Huntingtown, MD).
