North Carolina High School Soccer - Shining Light Baptist Academy held off by Rockwell Christian School

In Thursday's league contest, the Rockwell Christian School Chargers (Rockwell, NC) soccer team edged the host Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC), by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Chargers encounter the Southview Christian Conquerors (Statesville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Rockwell Christian School will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Conquerors go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Abundant Life Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC).

With the loss, Shining Light Baptist Academy moves to 1-2 on the year. The Sharks host Temple Academy (Powell, TN) to encounter the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. The Crusaders go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Temple Academy won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC)
