The Bacon County Raiders softball squad (Alma, GA), was routed 11-2 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA)

With the triumph, Brantley County improves its record to 8-7 on the year. The Herons travel to Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a 1A D-I Region 1 match on Tuesday, September 16. The Yellowjackets go into the match with a record of 12-3. Jeff Davis won 11-3 in their recent league match against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA)
