The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Northwest Vikings (Grand Island, NE) and the host Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE), observed Northwest's softball team prevail over Grand Island Central Catholic by a tally of 11-0.

The Vikings (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against North Platte (North Platte, NE). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 8-9 record. In their last bout, North Platte knocked off Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE), 11-5, in a league contest.
