September 11, 2025: Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742 The Murray County Indians edged the host Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Indians meet the Dade County Wolverines (Trenton, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Murray County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the battle with a 16-4 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Hebron Christian (Dacula, GA).
With the loss, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe moves to 3-12 on the season. The Warriors host Chattooga (Summerville, GA) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Monday, September 15. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 8-5. Chattooga lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA)
