Spectators at Thursday's league contest between the Liberty Lancers (Colorado Springs, CO) and the visiting Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), saw Liberty's softball squad nip Rampart by a score of 8-2.

With the triumph, Liberty improves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Lancers travel to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO) to battle the Eagles in a 5A CSML bout on Monday, September 15. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Pine Creek won 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Rams (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Grizzlies enter the non-league challenge with a 5-4 record.
