In Thursday's league match, the Kerr-Vance Academy Spartans (Henderson, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

The Spartans now possess a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Henderson Collegiate for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. Kerr-Vance Academy will clash with a Pride team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC). The Pride record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Albemarle School drops to 5-6 on the campaign. The Colts host Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15.
