In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Peru Nighthawks volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Beekmantown Eagles.

With the win, Peru improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Nighthawks host Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY) to face the Hornets in a Section 7 Freelance test on Thursday, September 25. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 3-0.

The Eagles now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colonie Central for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Beekmantown will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-2.
