In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Strasburg-Franklin Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Central Christian Comets.

The Tigers (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH). The Trojans come into the Inter Valley North challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Newcomerstown gained a win over Malvern (Malvern, OH), 3-1, in a league test.

The Comets now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chippewa for a non-league test on Monday, September 15. Central Christian will face a Chipps squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Northwestern (West Salem, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 5-5.
