West Jordan Jaguars (West Jordan, UT) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, West Jordan improves its record to 11-6 on the season. The Jaguars host Granger (West Valley City, UT) to encounter the Lancers in a 5A Region 4 test on Tuesday, September 16. The Lancers go into the test with a record of 3-9. Granger lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Hillcrest (Midvale, UT)

The Pirates now own a 4-13 record. They take the field next when they host Taylorsville for a 5A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, September 16. Cyprus will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hunter (West Valley City, UT). The Warriors record now stands at 1-9.
