The South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Davie County War Eagles (Mocksville, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Vikings now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lake Norman for a North Piedmont 6A/7A bout on Tuesday, September 16. South Iredell will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.

The War Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their match against Statesville (Statesville, NC). The Greyhounds enter the North Piedmont 6A/7A match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Statesville was outscored by North Iredell (Olin, NC), 3-0, in a league match.
