Georgia High School Volleyball - Praise Academy over Excel Christian Academy
September 11, 2025: Powder Springs, GA 30217 In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Praise Academy Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Excel Christian Academy Eagles.
The Lions (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgia-Cumberland Academy (Calhoun, GA). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Georgia-Cumberland Academy beat Cherokee Christian (Woodstock, GA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Eagles meet the Lyndon Academy Terriers (Woodstock, GA) in a GAPPS DI-A Sectional 1 challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. Excel Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Terriers come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Promise Prepatory Academy (Dawsonville, GA).
