Georgia High School Volleyball - Newnan tips Heritage
September 11, 2025: Newnan, GA 30263 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) and the visiting Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA), observed Newnan's volleyball team hold off Heritage by a count of 2-1.
The Cougars (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Central (Carrollton, GA). The Lions go into the non-league battle with a 17-5 record. In their last battle, Central tipped Temple (Temple, GA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now own a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Heritage will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Temple (Temple, GA). The Lions record now stands at 17-5.
