In Thursday's league challenge, the host St. Bede Bruins volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Woodland Warriors.

The Bruins (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kewanee (Kewanee, IL). The Boilermakers enter the non-league challenge with a 5-6 record. In their last challenge, Kewanee beat Knoxville (Knoxville, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 15. Woodland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 2-1 league loss to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL).
