September 12, 2022: Shelbyville, KY 40065 In Monday's non-league contest, the Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) volleyball squad edged the host Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Kentucky Country Day Bearcats (Louisville, KY) in a District 28 contest, on Wednesday, September 14. Eastern will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY).
With the loss, Shelby County drops to 2-9 on the campaign. The Rockets host Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY) to battle the Chargers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 13.
