Virginia High School Volleyball - Faith Christian tips New Covenant
September 12, 2023: Lynchburg, VA 24501 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Faith Christian Warriors (Roanoke, VA) and the host New Covenant Gryphons (Lynchburg, VA), saw Faith Christian's volleyball squad nip New Covenant by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, Faith Christian upgrades its record to 3-1 on the year. The Warriors host Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Knights in a bout on Monday, September 18. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-0. Christian Heritage Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA)
The Gryphons now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Temple Christian for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19.
