September 12, 2023: Yorkville, IL 60560 The Yorkville Foxes topped the visiting Newark Norsemen volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Foxes now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet West for a test on Tuesday, September 19. Yorkville will confront a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-2.
The Norsemen (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL). The Chargers enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Aurora Central Catholic gained a win over Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
