September 12, 2023: Hampden, ME 04444 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Hampden Broncos (Hampden, ME) and the visiting Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME), saw Hampden's soccer squad get by Brunswick by a margin of 1-0.
The Broncos now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Edward Little for a Class A - North test on Monday, September 18. Hampden will meet a Red Eddies squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME). The Red Eddies record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Brunswick drops to 2-2 on the season. The Dragons host Camden Hills (Rockport, ME) to meet the Windjammers in a Class A - North test on Thursday, September 14. The Windjammers come into the test with a record of 4-0. Camden Hills won 6-0 in their recent league test against Messalonskee (Oakland, ME)
