September 12, 2023: Rockford, IL 61109 The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL) and the visiting Harlem Huskies (Machesney Park, IL), saw Jefferson's soccer squad triumph over Harlem by a count of 6-1.
The J-Hawks now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Boylan Catholic for a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Thursday, September 14. Jefferson will meet a Titans squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Titans record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Harlem drops to 4-4 on the season. The Huskies host Freeport (Freeport, IL) to meet the Pretzels in a Northern Illinois NIC-10 test on Tuesday, September 19. The Pretzels come into the test with a record of 3-3.
