With the win, Yankton advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bucks/Gazelles host Mitchell (Mitchell, SD) to play the Kernels in a Class AA outing on Thursday, September 14. The Kernels go into the outing with a record of 1-7. Mitchell lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Vermillion (Vermillion, SD)
In their next game, the Tigers play the Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 16. Huron will attempt to advance on its 3-4 season record. The Cavaliers go into the outing with a 4-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD).
