September 12, 2023: Winslow, ME 04901 The Winslow Black Raiders soccer team scored 11 points and limited the visiting Lawrence Bulldogs to 0 in the Black Raiders league victory on Tuesday.
Next, the Black Raiders face the Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 16. Winslow will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Huskies enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Nokomis (Newport, ME).
The Bulldogs now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Oceanside for a Class B - North contest on Thursday, September 14. Lawrence will face a Mariners team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Morse (Bath, ME). The Mariners record now stands at 3-1.
