September 12, 2023: Wanblee, SD 57577 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD) and the host Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD), saw Bennett County's volleyball squad beat Crazy Horse by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Bennett County upgrades its record to 3-7 on the year. The Warriors travel to Lyman (Presho, SD) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Lyman lost 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Sully Buttes (Onida, SD)
The Chiefs now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they host St. Francis Indian for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. Crazy Horse will play a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.
