In Tuesday's league contest, the Forest Hills Yellow Jackets (Marshville, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Yellow Jackets battle the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest, on Thursday, September 14. Forest Hills will attempt to better on its 2-14 season record. The Bearcats come into the contest with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC).

With the loss, Central Academy drops to 0-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Monroe (Monroe, NC) to battle the Redhawks in a Rocky River 2A/3A contest on Thursday, September 14.
