September 12, 2023: Quitman, MS 39355 The Forest Bearcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Quitman Panthers to 1 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bearcats now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Jones for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Forest will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 14-7.
The Panthers (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Morton (Morton, MS). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Morton gained a win over Mendenhall (Mendenhall, MS), 3-0, in a non-league game.
