September 12, 2023: Gilbert, IA 50105 Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Norsemen clash with the Lake Mills Bulldogs (Lake Mills, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Roland-Story will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the match with a 12-3 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Garner-Hayfield/Ventura (Garner, IA).
With the loss, Gilbert drops to 8-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to North Polk (Alleman, IA) to clash with the Comets in a Raccoon River match on Tuesday, September 12.
