September 12, 2023: Springfield, MA 01119 The Pioneer Valley Christian Eagles held off the visiting Lenox Memorial Millionaires volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chicopee for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Pioneer Valley Christian will confront a Pacers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA). The Pacers record now stands at 1-2.
The Millionaires (0-2) will now prepare for their test against East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Spartans enter the Pioneer Valley - Southern test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, East Longmeadow was nudged by Belchertown (Belchertown, MA), 3-0, in a league test.

In a 5 game contest, the visiting Lenox Millionaires fell to the Pioneer Valley Christian Academy. Coach Laurin was most proud of how well Lenox played at the net.
