With the win, South upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cardinals host Milwaukee Bay View (Milwaukee, WI) to face the Redcats in a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 13. The Redcats go into the outing with a record of 0-0.
The Bishops now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Brookfield Academy for a Midwest Classic outing on Thursday, September 14. Messmer will face a Blue Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Lake Country Lutheran (Hartland, WI). The Blue Knights record now stands at 0-6.
