September 12, 2023: Long Beach, CA 90802 The St. Anthony Saints volleyball team (Long Beach, CA), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Valley Christian Defenders (Cerritos, CA)
The Defenders (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Village Christian (Sun Valley, CA). The Crusaders come into the Olympic challenge with a 15-3 record. In their last challenge, Village Christian defeated Maranatha (Pasadena, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Saints encounter the Mary Star of the Sea Stars (San Pedro, CA) in a Del Rey challenge, on Thursday, September 14. St. Anthony will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Stars come into the challenge with a 8-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA).
