Virginia High School Volleyball - Herndon tips South Lakes

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Herndon Hornets volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the South Lakes Seahawks.

The Hornets (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the Liberty challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Langley got by Herndon (Herndon, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Seahawks meet the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a Concorde challenge, on Thursday, September 19. South Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Chargers enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to West Springfield (Springfield, VA).
