The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans football squad scored 21 points and limited the visiting American Leadership Academy Patriots to 6 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Eau Claire for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Ridge Spring-Monetta will meet a Shamrocks squad coming off a 35-22 non-league loss to Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Shamrocks record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, American Leadership Academy drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Saluda (Saluda, SC) to meet the Tigers in a AA Region 2 test on Friday, October 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-0.
