Oregon High School Football - Colton thwarted by Culver
September 12, 2024: Culver, OR 97734 Culver Bulldogs (Culver, OR) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Colton Vikings (Colton, OR), 34-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Culver advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bulldogs host Rogue River (Rogue River, OR) to play the Chieftains in a 2A Special District 5 (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 20. The Chieftains go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Rogue River lost 35-6 in their recent non-league battle against Bandon (Bandon, OR)
The Vikings now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Illinois Valley for a non-league battle on Friday, September 20. Colton will play a Cougars team coming off a 61-54 non-league loss to Lowell (Lowell, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
