Texas High School Football - Lamar overwhelmed by Horn
September 12, 2024: Arlington, TX 76012 The Horn Jaguars walloped the host Lamar Vikings football team by a score of 40-7 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Jaguars face the Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Friday, September 20. Horn will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 34-33 non-league loss to Hebron (Carrollton, TX).
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Martin (Arlington, TX). The Warriors enter the 6A Region I District 8 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Martin was ripped by Mansfield (Mansfield, TX), 62-53, in a non-league challenge.
