The Unity Reed Lions football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Mount Vernon Majors to 14 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hylton for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Unity Reed will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 45-8 non-league loss to Osbourn (Manassas, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-2.
