California High School Football - Muir thwarted by St. Francis
September 12, 2024: Pasadena, CA 91103 St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Muir Mustangs (Pasadena, CA), 38-29 in a non-league battle.
With the win, St. Francis improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Golden Knights travel to St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA) to play the Swordsmen in a battle on Thursday, October 3. The Swordsmen go into the battle with a record of 4-0.
The Mustangs now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Margarita for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 21. Muir will play a Eagles team coming off a 45-13 non-league win over Downey (Downey, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-0.
