September 12, 2024: Asheville, NC 28803 The Watauga Pioneers felled the host A.C. Reynolds Rockets football team by a score of 22-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Pioneers play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Watauga will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Black Knights go into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 20-6 non-league win over Walkertown (Walkertown, NC).
The Rockets (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC). The Black Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, North Buncombe was dropped by Brevard (Brevard, NC), 28-20, in a non-league challenge.
