September 12, 2024: Grand Prairie, TX 75050 The Grand Prairie Gophers football squad scored 30 points and limited the visiting Nimitz Vikings to 8 in the Gophers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Gophers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bowie for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19.
With the defeat, Nimitz drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to MacArthur (Irving, TX) to meet the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, September 26. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 0-1. MacArthur lost 14-12 in their recent non-league test against Paschal (Fort Worth, TX)
