Colorado High School Soccer - Air Academy nudges Coronado
September 12, 2024: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840 The Air Academy Kadets (US Air Force Academy, CO) soccer nipped the visiting Coronado Cougars (Colorado Springs, CO), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
The Kadets now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Smoky Hill for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 17. Air Academy will encounter a Buffaloes squad coming off a 1-1 non-league Gateway (Aurora, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Coronado moves to 1-2 on the year. The Cougars host Mullen (Denver, CO) to encounter the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 16. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Mullen lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Centaurus (Lafayette, CO)
