In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting First Flight Nighthawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Holmes Aces.

The Nighthawks (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Panthers enter the challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Pasquotank County was beaten by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 2-0, in a league challenge.
