Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Nokomis Redskins (Nokomis, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Meridian advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Hawks travel to Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City (Cowden, IL) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 0-0.
