Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) and the host Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC), saw Franklin's soccer squad triumph over Highlands by a count of 7-0.

The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their battle against East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC). The Eagles enter the Mountain Seven 3A battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, East Henderson was overwhelmed by Christ School (Arden, NC), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
