September 12, 2024: Covington Township, PA 18444 The North Pocono Trojans soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Valley View Cougars to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Scranton for a Lackawanna - Division I bout on Tuesday, September 17. North Pocono will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Knights record now stands at 1-4.
With the loss, Valley View moves to 3-2 on the year. The Cougars host Dunmore (Dunmore, PA) to play the Bucks in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14.
