St. Francis Knights (Alpharetta, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), 15-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, St. Francis upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to play the Longhorns in a non-league game on Saturday, September 14. The Longhorns enter the game with a record of 7-12. Lanier lost 10-4 in their recent league game against Milton (Milton, GA)

The Black Knights now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Discovery for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 17. Central Gwinnett will play a Titans squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Titans record now stands at 0-6.
