In Thursday's league test, the Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA), by a tally of 10-0.

Next, the Blue Devils clash with the Haralson County Rebels (Tallapoosa, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 test, on Tuesday, September 17. Model will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Rebels go into the test with a 8-7 record after their 3-1 league win over Heard County (Franklin, GA).

The Tigers (1-13) will now prepare for their test against Temple (Temple, GA). The Tigers go into the 1A D-I Region 6 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Temple was routed by Bremen (Bremen, GA), 4-3, in a league test.
