The North Central Thunder volleyball squad (Eureka, SD), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Aberdeen Christian Knights (Aberdeen, SD)

With the win, Aberdeen Christian improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Knights travel to Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD) to encounter the Patriots in a B Region 1 battle on Tuesday, September 17. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Hitchcock-Tulare won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD)
