Oregon High School Volleyball - Rogue River overwhelmed by Illinois Valley
September 12, 2024: Rogue River, OR 97537 Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Illinois Valley advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to Grants Pass (Grants Pass, OR) to face the Cavemen in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Cavemen go into the test with a record of 1-6. Grants Pass lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Sheldon (Eugene, OR)
The Chieftains now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rogue Valley Adventist for a non-league test on Thursday, September 12. Rogue River will face a Red Tail Hawks squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to North Lake (Silver Lake, OR). The Red Tail Hawks record now stands at 2-1.
