September 12, 2024: Coal City, WV 25823 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV) and the visiting PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), observed Independence's volleyball team top PikeView by a count of 3-0.
The Patriots (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Bridgeport notched a victory over Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV), 2-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Panthers meet the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) in a Mountain State contest, on Thursday, September 19. PikeView will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record.
