In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Ponca Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars.

The Indians (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Catholic was beaten by Crofton (Crofton, NE), 3-0, in a league challenge.
