The Dakota Cougars felled the host Anchor Bay Tars football squad by a count of 17-7 in Friday's league test.

The Cougars now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sterling Heights Stevenson for a Macomb Area - Red test on Friday, September 19. Dakota will meet a Titans squad coming off a 24-21 league win over Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Titans record now stands at 3-0.
